			 This entertaining program for the
whole family will be broadcast live on the Looking for Lincoln’s
Facebook page and YouTube Channel and will include a facilitated
question and answer with the virtual audience. This is an engaging
way to learn more about one of our most prominent leaders from a fun
and unique perspective - Lincoln’s childhood.
Lincoln Tales, Tall and True traces Lincoln’s rise from prairie
state rail-splitter to America’s favorite president, with the blend
of history and humor attempting to disentangle the man from the
myth. Presented in a storytelling format, these adventures will be
portrayed from the perspective of Austin Gollaher, a childhood
friend of Lincoln who once saved his life. Brian “Fox” Ellis
portrayal of Gollaher allows the viewer to step back in time, and
brings the earliest years of Abraham Lincoln ‘tales’ to life.

Brian "Fox" Ellis is an internationally renowned storyteller, author
and naturalist. Fox is a frequent speaker on the modern Chautauqua

who has worked with The Field Museum and The Abraham Lincoln
Presidential Library. He is the Artistic Director for Prairie
Folklore Theatre, a unique theatre company that celebrates ecology
and history through original musical theatre.
