Obituary
Ava Marie Mattson, 11 months, passed
away on Friday, April 2, 2021, at her home, in
peace, surrounded by her closest loved ones.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Heyworth Christian
Church. Private funeral services will be held.
Burial will be at Funks Grove Cemetery in rural
McLean.
Ava Marie Mattson was born April 16, 2020, in
Normal, the daughter of Michael D. and Kamryn Marie
Van Hook Mattson.

She is survived by her parents; one
brother, Knox M. Mattson; maternal grandparents:
Shawna Reich and Bryan Van Hook; paternal
grandparents: David Mattson and Kimberley Mattson;
great-grandparents: Alberta Van Hook, Jack Van Hook,
Judy and David Burton; Linda and Richard Cory; and
David and Kay Mattson.
Memorials may be made to her family.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home of Atlanta.
