[April 10, 2021]  MOUNT PULASKI - Dorothy Conklin, 89, of Mount Pulaski, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021, at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.

Obituary

Dorothy Conklin, 89, of Mount Pulaski, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021, at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.

Dorothy was born on December 13, 1931 in Lincoln, the daughter of Roy C. and Bertha M. (Dority) Conklin.

Dorothy worked many years as a telephone operator and clerk in Lincoln and Bloomington, as a tech at Lincoln Developmental Center and Home Health Care Aid to the elderly. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ.

Dorothy is survived by her furry companion: Maggie. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Ralph Conklin.

Services for Dorothy will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, where face masks and social distancing will be enacted, with Rev. Adam Quine officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 10:00-11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Burial at New Union Cemetery will follow the service.

Memorials may be made in Dorothy’s name to the Logan County Food Pantry or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
