Hidden in Plain Sight is a drive-thru event intended
for parents of youth or teenage children. Come join us at Lincoln
Community High School for a 20-minute journey through a messy
teenager’s bedroom. Take your shot at identifying paraphernalia by
looking at pictures of a child’s bedroom. All participants will be
taking home a free dinner prepared by Deep Roots Café while supplies
last!
This event will give you a peek of harmful substances and other
items that children can hide in plain sight. From station to
station, facilitators will show you various parts of the bedroom.
Your task is to identify items shown in the picture of this bedroom
that may indicate alcohol and drug use.

As a result of the event, parents will be better equipped to help
their child stay healthy and safe.
The Hidden in Plain Sight Event has been coordinated by the ALMH
Community Health Collaborative’s Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition.
