The April wildflower walks will be
offered twice a day at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. every Saturday in April
starting April 3rd. The early dates will allow for the very earliest
of the spring ephemerals such as spring beauties and Dutchmen’s
breeches to be enjoyed. Later in the season the vast sweeps of
Virginia Bluebells for which the tour is known will delight those
who visit.
Guests may also opt to enjoy a delicious lunch at the Wild Hare
Café’ mid-day on tour days.
The final Saturday, April 24th will offer two bird walks at 6 a.m.
and 4 p.m. and a combination bird and flower walk at 10 a.m. Private
tours for groups of ten or more can be arranged on other days during
the spring bloom.

The bird walk will once again be led by a team of fabulous
birders who helped to identify over 60 species of birds on previous walks.
