Joesph Gibson named LTEC Student of the Month for April

 

[April 22, 2021]   Joseph Gibson, son of Joe and Kristi Gibson, was named the April Student of the Month for the Automotive Technology program at the Lincolnland Technical Education Center. Joseph is a senior at Williamsville High School and a second-year automotive technology student.

Mr. Jon Graber, instructor, selected Joseph for his willingness to learn, aptitude, and ability to put into practice what he’s learned. Mr. Graber says Joseph listens to instruction and takes direction well. He is a very hard worker and doesn’t mind going the extra mile. He comes into class every day prepared to work, is intuitive, and picks up skills quickly. He has the ability, drive and work ethic to be a Master Technician and excel in the automotive field. Joseph already has work experience as he currently works as an automotive tech for a trucking company in Springfield. As his instructor it has been a pleasure to watch him learn and grow in his knowledge over the last two years. He will do well in this field, I wish him the best.

Joseph’s future plans are to keep learning new skills and eventually become a shop foreman.

Joseph received $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsored this award.
