Lincoln falls to Williamsville 3-1
Tanner Strampp homers to avoid the shutout

The Lincoln Railsplitters traveled to Williamsville Monday afternoon and suffered their first loss of the season to the Bullets. Williamsville won the game 3-1.

The Bullets scored one run in the bottom of the second inning and added two more insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Lincoln’s Tanner Strampp hit a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning with one out to avoid the shutout for the Railsplitters.

Keagan Ferguson and Tanner Strampp each went 2-for-3 for the Railsplitters. Lincoln had just four hits on the day.

Devyn Snow (0-1) worked five innings for Lincoln and got the loss. Snow allowed three runs on 7 hits. He struck out 7 batters and issued no walks. Trent Koehler pitched one inning and allowed one hit and one walk while striking out one batter.

Connor Carter got the win for the Bullets. Carter worked seven innings and allowed just one run on four hits. He struck out 11 batters and issued one walk.

Lincoln falls to 5-1 on the season. The Railsplitters will play at Pleasant Plains today with the first pitch scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
