Goodwin lined a 3-1 fastball from Nick Wittgren (2-4) into the right-field bleachers as the White Sox earned a series victory in the three-game weekend set.

Both teams had four hits. Amed Rosario doubled twice for the Indians, who went 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position while stranding four. The White Sox were 1-for-6 with men in scoring position and stranded seven.

A White Sox bullpen relay of four pitchers combined for six innings of two-hit relief with eight strikeouts. That included a perfect eighth inning for recently acquired Craig Kimbrel, who lowered his season ERA to 0.47.

Liam Hendriks (5-2) worked around a two-out single to record a scoreless ninth and earn the victory.

Reynaldo Lopez sparked the relief effort with three innings of one-hit ball with four strikeouts.

Wittgren allowed one run and one hit in 1 1/3 innings with two strikeouts.

Recalled from Triple-A Charlotte before the game, right-hander Jimmy Lambert got the start for Chicago. He pitched three innings of one-run, two-hit ball with one walk and two strikeouts.

In his third appearance of the season -- and second start against Cleveland - Lambert surrendered a solo home run to Myles Straw leading off the third inning.

Indians righty Cal Quantrill worked six innings, scattering one run on three hits with four walks and six strikeouts. His lone blemish came in the fifth inning, when he hit Jose Abreu near the shoulder with a pitch with the bases loaded.

It marked the third time Abreu was hit by a pitch in the three-game series, including once in the helmet on Friday night. Cleveland's Jose Ramirez ran to Abreu between innings to speak with him.

Quantrill has made six appearances and two starts against the White Sox this season, pitching to a 1.10 ERA in 16 1/3 innings.
