As many people may know, the National
Railsplitting Festival in Lincoln is just weeks away.
If you've not been to a festival and are wanted a
sneak preview of what could be instore if you attend this year, then
a visit to the fair this week will give you just that.
The Association will have activities at the fair this
week from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. each evening Tuesday through Saturday.
Look for the Railsplitter booth at the fair and take
in the following activities:

Tuesday, August 3rd: Mining

Wednesday, August 4th: Dr. Dennis Campbell from Lincoln
College's Creekside Environmental Learning Center

Thursday, August 5th: Pioneer Games

Friday, August 6th: Rock Painting
Saturday, August 7th: Rope Making
The
Association will also be raffling a commemorative tomahawk with
stand. Tickets will be $1 each, winner need not be present to
win.
Proceeds of the raffle will support the upcoming Festival.
