 A grand opening event is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
Saturday, August 14, at the ballpark, which is located at Lincoln
Jr. High School, 208 Broadway Street. A ribbon cutting, first pitch,
along with free hot dogs and drinks will all be part of the
festivities.
Following the ceremony, the LJHS Trojans baseball team will take on
the CEL Panthers.

“We look forward to the grand opening and invite
community members to join us in celebrating this wonderful new field
in downtown Lincoln,” said Kent Froebe, District #27 Superintendent.
“We will be serving free hot dogs, and drinks served in
commemorative cups while they last.”
