[August 17, 2021]   Joelle Dell Sawicki of Pineville, NC, formerly of Lincoln passed away on May 14,2021 at the Atrium Health Pineville in Pineville, North Carolina.

Visitation: Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home.

Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home

Funeral home: Peasley Funeral Home, Lincoln     

Obituary

Joelle Dell Sawicki of Pineville, NC, formerly of Lincoln passed away on May 14,2021 at the Atrium Health Pineville in Pineville, North Carolina.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 14,2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Joelle Dell Manuel was born on July 6,1935 in Macomb, Illinois the daughter of Edward C. and Helen Ida (Smith) Manuel. She was united in marriage to Frank Sawicki on July 23, 1955. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children: Suzanne Sawicki of Decatur, Il., Marty (Neva) Sawicki of Georgia., Thomas (Jennifer) Sawicki of Lincoln, IL., Stan (Margurite) Sawicki of Sandford, NC. Seventeen grandchildren, Twenty-one great grandchildren.

Funeral Director

She was preceded in death by one son: Mitchell Sawicki.

Joelle graduated from Peoria Central High School and attended Knox College in Galesburg.

She is a member of the Prairie Art Alliance. She had been employed at the Dana Thomas House and Illinois State Museum.

Memorials may be made to the Dana-Thomas House in Springfield.

Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
