Obituary
Lynn Haseley, 72, of Beason, passed
away on August 14, 2021, peacefully at his home
surrounded by his loving family.
Lynn was born on October 28, 1948, in Lincoln, son
of Arthur and Marian (Coates) Haseley. Lynn married
Judith Logan on December 6, 1969 in Lincoln. She
survives in Beason.
Lynn is also survived by his daughters, Debbie
(Raymond) Allen of Lincoln, and Kelly Haseley of
Beason; his sister, Marcia Greenslate of Beason; his
niece, Meghan (Tim) Heuring of Freeburg; his
nephews, Greg (Diane) Logan of Clinton, and Eric
Logan of Saybrook; his sister-in-law, Jo (Don) Bode
of Freeburg; his brother-in-law, Butch (Linda) Logan
of Atlanta, and his great-nieces and nephews.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, one
niece, Jennifer Bode, one brother-in-law, Kenn
Logan, and his in-laws, Kayo and Maggie Logan.
Lynn loved his family, farming, and Case IH
tractors. He was a member of the Farm Bureau Board,
Young Farmers, East Lincoln Board, Ag-Land President
for 35 years, he was a Lincoln Rural Fire Department
Trustee for 25 years and was the current President,
a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church where he
served on many committees. |
Lynn started farming as a young child
and his life goal was to be a farmer. He truly loved
farming with Case IH equipment. He took pride in his
farming practices. Lynn and Judy made many cherished
friends throughout their marriage; they enjoyed
traveling with friends and family. He also loved
spending time with his close friends Will Stambaugh,
Greyson Rademaker, and his faithful furry companion,
Bootsey. He will be truly missed by all who knew
him.
Services for Lynn will be held at 10:00 a.m. on
Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church in
Lincoln with an hour visitation prior to the service
(9:00-10:00am). Visitation will also take place from
4:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 also at
the church. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s
Cemetery in Lincoln. Due to health concerns, the

a facemask
Memorial donations may be made in Lynn’s name to
Zion Lutheran Church of Lincoln, or The Lincoln
Rural Fire Department in care of: The Stay Alive
House.
