Garcia's second homer was a ninth-inning solo shot that tied the
game, setting the stage for the winning rally in the 10th.
The Brewers got eight innings of one-run ball from seven
relievers while winning for the eighth time in nine games.
However, they may have lost starting pitcher Freddy Peralta to
an injury.
Peralta exited the game with right shoulder discomfort after
batting in the third inning.
Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado was ejected between the
seventh and eighth innings by first base umpire Alan Porter for
protesting two checked-swing calls.

ejected in the ninth inning by plate umpire Ramon De Jesus for
arguing a called third strike on Narvaez.
Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty allowed two runs on
four hits in six innings. He struck out eight and walked one.
Alex Reyes (5-6) took the loss after giving up four runs (one
earned) in the last two innings.

Hader (4-2), the sixth Brewers reliever to follow him, earned
the victory and Devin Williams recorded his third save despite
allowing an unearned run in the bottom of the 10th.
The Cardinals took a 2-0 first-inning lead when Paul Goldschmidt
hit a double and Tyler O'Neill and Lars Nootbaar hit RBI
singles.
Two-out doubles by Tommy Edman and Goldschmidt pushed the
Cardinals' lead to 3-0 in the second inning.
Solo homers by Willy Adames in the fourth inning, Garcia in the
fifth inning and Garcia in the ninth pulled the Brewers even.
Reyes' throwing error on Luis Urias' chopper put Brewers on
second and third with nobody out in the 10th inning, and a wild
pitch put the visitors up 4-3.
Christian Yelich's bunt single scored another run, and Jace
Peterson's single, combined with Nootbaar's error in right
field, increased the advantage to 6-3.
Yadier Molina's RBI single in the bottom of the inning cut the
Cardinals' deficit to 6-4, but Williams retired the next three
batters, the final two on strikeouts.
