This year will mark the 20th Anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist
attack. The Young Conservatives of Logan County would like to honor
and remember those who lost their lives in this tragic attack.

We would like to display a flag on the lawn of the
Logan County Courthouse for each individual who perished that day.
We are looking for sponsors to help us purchase the 2,977 flags and
volunteers to help us place them.
The names of all sponsors will be on display on the courthouse lawn
along with the flags. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor,
please email the Young Conservatives at
youngconservativesoflc@yahoo.com. The deadline for
sponsorship will be Friday, August 27th. Details of the sponsorship
will be shared with interested parties via email.
Flags will be placed and on display at the courthouse starting
September 6th. The flags will remain on the lawn through September
11th.

In order to place nearly 3,000 flags on the lawn, the Young
Conservatives need several volunteers to come out and help. The flags will be
placed on September 5th. If you would like to help, please contact the Young
Conservatives via the email provided. The Young Conservatives will contact all
volunteers via email with more details. This would be a great way to get
everyone involved and come together to remember this solemn moment in our
history.
“We are extremely hopeful to have this opportunity to show our respect for those
who died that day. Our hope with this flag display is to be able to do this
every year as a remembrance. If you have any questions, please feel free to
reach out to us. Thank you!”
