Obituary
Judith Jennings, 78, passed away on
August 13, 2021, at her home surrounded by her
family.
She was born on July 8, 1943, in Lincoln, daughter
of Donald A. and Julia E. (Sparks) Dobey. She
married William “Bill” Jennings on April 26, 2004,
in Will County. He survives her.
Also surviving Judith is her children: Donna
Thornton of Middletown, Brian (Shelley) Dobey of TN,
Jeff Carter of Middletown, and Mike Carter of
Atlanta; her siblings: Tom (Yvonne) Dobey, Ed (Pat)
Dobey, Jim Dobey, and Rich (Cindy) Dobey.
Grandchildren: Elizabeth (Jerry) Daniels, Camden
Dobey, Carson Dobey, and Cameron Felton; great
grandchildren: Jacob and Joshua Daniels and Brileigh
Elizabeth Dobey, and Ryder Felton. |
She was preceded in death by her
parents, a sister, Ruth Thomas Dobey, and a great
granddaughter Emery R. Daniels.
Services for Judith will be 11:00 a.m. Friday,
August 20, 2021, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00
p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021, also at the funeral
home. Burial will follow the service at Camp Butler
National Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Judith’s name to the
American Diabetes Association.
