[December 01, 2021]  MOUNT PULASKI - Reba Leigh, 96, of Mt. Pulaski, formerly of Atlanta and Eureka, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at the Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski.

Service: Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Olio Cemetery in Eureka

Obituary

Reba Leigh, 96, of Mt. Pulaski, formerly of Atlanta and Eureka, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at the Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Olio Cemetery in Eureka, with Mr. Tony Billingsley officiating.

Reba Burks was born on October 25, 1925, in Mountain View, Missouri, the daughter of Henry A. and Lula Mable Payne Burks. She was united in marriage to Sargent Leigh on August 4, 1950. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1992.

Surviving are her daughters: Karen (David) Bell and Brenda (Jeff) Hawkins; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and seven siblings: Ruth Hightower, Iva Mattison, Bonnie Carter, Erma Cassidy, Alvin Burks, Linda Sue Rose, and Wilbur Burks.

Funeral Director

She was preceded in death by parents, eight brothers, and three sisters.

Reba was a member of the McLean Christian Church.

Memorials may be made to the Vonderlieth Living Center.
