Church of Christ in Lincoln is sponsoring a
Christian Carnival on Sunday from 2:30 to
4:30 p.m. The activities will be on the
church's parking lot, at the corner of
Eighth and Maple streets.
The
public is invited. All ages are welcome to
join in the games, snacks, songs, stories
and more fun -- and win prizes, too -- all
for free.

ADVENT/CHRISTMAS SERVICES
St. John United Church of Christ in
Lincoln announces their Advent and Christmas
Services to which the public is cordially invited to
participate.
Beginning with the First Sunday of Advent on
Sunday, November 28 the theme: “Haikus of
Hope” will be shared by Guest Speaker, Cince
Bowns from Habitat for Humanity
Sunday, December 5th: “Haikus of Peace”
will be shared and Open Communion will be offered.
St. John Singers will offer special music. .
Sunday, December 12th: “Haikus of Joy” the
message and St. John Ringers will offer special
music.
Caroling to the shut-ins will be shared that
afternoon.
Sunday, December 19th: “Haikus of Love” the
message and St. John Chimers will offer special
music.
Friday, December 24th-Christmas Eve 10:00 p.m.:
Candlelight Service and Open Communion will be
celebrated. Message: “Christmas Elves are
Everywhere” and music by St. John Singers, Ringers
and Chimers.
The public is invited and welcome to attend any or
all of the services. At services when communion is
served the United Church of Christ practices an Open
Table accepting all who accept Christ may partake of
the sacrament of communion. Social distancing
practices are observed.

Christ, 204 Seventh Street in Lincoln. All services
