On
Saturday, December 11th, the community is invited to a
grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at Elite
Kicks, a new retail business at 130 S. Chicago Street In
Lincoln.
The store, owned by Nick Cummings (left), Mario Canon
(right), Dave Duncan and Ron Olthoff, will specialize in
sneakers but with a twist. Read more about that twist in
today's edition of Lincoln Daily News.
Doors will open at 11 a.m. with a ribbon cut to be held
soon after. Please come out and show support for this
new business in the heart of the city.

The
Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation hosted its annual
Light Up a Life ceremony on Tuesday evening. This year
the event was held on the front lawn at the hospital.
The event was led by the new foundation director Rylie
Brackney.
LDN will have additional Light up a Life event coverage
in the Thursday edition.
