[December 07, 2021]   To complete their 2021 exhibit season, Lincoln Arts Institute will host Logan County Arts members for their annual Holiday Show and Shop event at 112 S. McLean St, Lincoln. The show will open with a reception from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021.

For this event, the artists will present a variety of items suitable as distinctive gifts and holiday decor, including original paintings and photography with local and nature themes, handcrafted wooden boxes, glass blown ornaments, interior décor, and various holiday decorations and cards. According to gallerist Jason Hoffman, the holiday show has been very popular and well attended in the past. “When you purchase handmade art, the piece has the artists energy and heart in them, plus it helps support the arts.”

After the initial reception, The Lincoln Arts Institute Gallery will open on Fridays 5-8 p.m. and Saturdays 10-1 p.m. until December 18th. Any other requests for shoppers, people may call Jason Hoffman at 309-287-3744. The gallery will be hosting the Gingerbread House contest with Logan County Tourism from the 11th to the 18th with a people’s choice award on the final day.
