Michelle Bauer Country Financial® Supports Logan County D.A.R.E and Lincoln Rural Fire, Through Operation Helping Heroes Donation

COUNTRY Financial Representative Michelle Bauer is pleased to support our local First Responders as 2021 recipients of a COUNTRY Financial Operation Helping Heroes donation. Michelle presented $750.00 to the Logan County Sherriff’s Department D.A.R.E program and the Lincoln Rural Fire Protection district this week.

“I’m so pleased to be able to help take care of those who help care for us and enrich our lives every day within our community – our first responders are such an important asset to Logan County,” said Bauer. “It’s a small token of my appreciation that I hope will continue to positively impact our community.”

The donations will be used by each department to have direct impact on Logan County youth.

Lincoln Rural Fire will use the funds to continue to rehab the “Mobile Safe House” that will allow them to travel to rural schools and promote fire safety and awareness. “This will be the third year in a row that I have been able to contribute to both programs,” said Bauer. “Fire and drug/alcohol safety should be programs afforded to all the young people of Logan County and I love that I can help make sure it happens.”

The Sherriff’s Office will be purchasing a laptop to allow the D.A.R.E officers to travel between the county schools and use the technology needed to directly impact students.

COUNTRY Financial donated $3 million in 2020 to organizations and programs that support first responders and active-duty service members, supporting the company’s vision to “enrich lives in the communities we serve.” COUNTRY Financial is continuing the program in 2021 and expanding the opportunity to educators, to help financial representatives further support their local community. The Operation Helping Heroes program was created in 2015 to support non-profit events and programs that benefit active-duty service members, veterans and their families.
