assisted on Max Pacioretty's go-ahead score a little more than a
minute later as the Vegas Golden Knights rallied for a 5-4 win over
the Dallas Stars on Wednesday in Las Vegas.
The Golden Knights posted three unanswered goals in the last 10:01
to keep the Stars from posting a club-record eighth straight win.
Jonathan Marchessault and Michael Amadio also scored for the Golden
Knights, who have won three in a row. Laurent Brossoit stopped 12 of
13 shots in relief of Robin Lehner, who was pulled in the second
period after giving up three goals on 10 shots.
Joe Pavelski scored twice, Jason Robertson had a goal and an assist
and Tyler Seguin added a goal for the Stars. Dallas' Roope Hintz and
John Klingberg each had two assists, and Braden Holtby made 40
saves.
Canucks 2, Bruins 1 (SO)
J.T. Miller and Bo Horvat both scored in the shootout to give host
Vancouver a win over Boston, which was playing the first of a
three-game swing through Western Canada. It was the Canucks' second
consecutive win after Bruce Boudreau took over as head coach.
Brock Boeser scored in regulation time for the Canucks, who have won
four of five games. Thatcher Demko made 35 saves through overtime,
as well as both Boston players he faced in the shootout, to
celebrate his 26th birthday.
The Bruins got a game-tying goal from Patrice Bergeron early in the
third period. Jeremy Swayman logged 31 saves.
