Contrary to earlier plans,
Santa will be present, but he will be on the
stage after each show for families wanting
photos. They will be asked to remain in their
seats until their turn to prevent crowding.
Families wishing to depart instead may do so.
In accordance with Illinois Department of Public
Health guidelines, social distancing will be
observed, and masks will be required when not
seated. In addition, seating will be limited to
less than 30 percent capacity so advance tickets
are advised.
The Arlee’s Polar Express Experience has become
a local tradition that families look forward to
every year. It sets the mood for the rest of the
holidays as we all listen for the tinkling of
sleigh bells and ponder what we believe.
Kids – and adults if they wish
– may wear their pajamas, robe and slippers to
the Arlee Theater where The Conductor will punch
their ticket. Each ticket includes hot
chocolate, a cookie and popcorn served by
special characters, a viewing of the classic
Christmas movie, “Polar Express,” and a souvenir
from the evening.
