[December 11, 2021] Green
Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers practiced on Friday for the
first time since breaking his left pinkie toe more than three weeks
ago.
Rodgers, who played through the pain in Green Bay's past three
games, appears to have benefited from the extra downtime during the
bye week.
"The biggest key is rest," he said during an appearance earlier this
week on "The Pat McAfee Show." "I wish there was another one of
these (bye) weeks so I could get 14 to 21 great days without doing
anything, but the toe is improving."
Rodgers, 38, has completed 66.2 percent of his passes for 2,878
yards with 23 touchdowns and four interceptions in 11 starts this
season (9-2 record).

The Packers (9-3) return to action Sunday night
against the NFC North rival Chicago Bears (4-8) at Lambeau Field.
Rodgers had two touchdown passes and a touchdown run in a 24-14 win
at Chicago in Week 6.
Rodgers said he injured the toe while training on his own during his
COVID-19 isolation period in early November. The injury could
require surgery after the season.
