Logan County first responders, LCPA,
Lincoln Rural Fire, Lincoln Fire, Atlanta Fire, were all
called to the scene. A helicopter was also brought in,
and ambulances were called from McLean.
LDN will provide additional information as it becomes
available.

On
Friday night, those who braved the weather and threats
of severe storms to view the living Nativity at Zion
Lutheran Church in Lincoln were surely not disappointed.
The scene did have to be modified slightly to protect
the cast members, but it was still quite lovely and a
powerful reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.

On
Saturday morning, the Cronin Brothers VFW Post
1756 and its auxiliary, and Marine Corps League 1336
hosted its annual Breakfast with Santa event for area
children.
A free breakfast was offered to everyone in attendance,
and then children had the chance to visit with Santa
Claus and get those last-minute Christmas wishes
delivered to the big guy.

Edwardsville chief on Amazon warehouse: ‘It was definitely
one of our worst days’

side of an Amazon warehouse in Edwardsville. The facility
was hit by an EF3 tornado on Friday night, according to a
preliminary report from the NWS, killing six and causing
multiple injury.
