Lady Railers pick up 10th win on the season

[December 15, 2021] The Lady Railers traveled to Mount Zion on Tuesday night and the Varsity picked up their 10th win of the season with a 53-16 victory over the Braves.

 

Lincoln had a 9-3 lead at the end of the first quarter. By halftime, the Lady Railers were up 26-7. A solid third quarter extended the Lincoln lead to 38-11. There was no doubt in this one, as the Lady Railers walked away with the 53-16 win.

Kloe Froebe led Lincoln with 28 points. Froebe was 15-of-17 from the free throw line.

Lincoln improves to 10-2 on the season. The Lady Railers are 3-1 in the Apollo Conference.

The Lincoln JV won easily over Mount Zion also, 42-8 the final score. Piper Whiteman poured in 16 points to lead the Lady Railers in scoring. Taryn Stoltzenburg tossed in 10 points for Lincoln.

Lincoln plays at Champaign Centennial Thursday night. The JV will start at 6:00 p.m. The Varsity will tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
