Brian Peacher Sr. has been named Director of Information Technology
(IT) at Lincoln College. Peacher has successfully served as Director
of Career Services at the institution since September 2021.
Prior to his time at Lincoln College, Peacher worked within State
Farm Companies for 31 years. He most recently served as Project
Manager, overseeing teams of business and IT professionals in
completing projects to uphold business initiatives.
Under Peacher’s direction as business area program lead, his team
established and delivered a roadmap and budget for one of the top
ten enterprise initiatives within State Farm. Under that initiative,
multiple IT products were rolled-out over several years.
“Brian has a great deal of experience managing teams of analysts,
assigning and prioritizing workloads, and providing strategic
guidance to employees, which is incredibly valuable to our campus
community,” said David Gerlach, President of Lincoln College.
Peacher notes his first priority will be learning and observation.
“I hope to assess our processes, systems, and tools and evaluate
what is documented, necessary, and if those items achieve the
intended result,” said Peacher. “I will work with our IT team to
ensure our processes, systems, and tools serve and support Lincoln
College now and in the future.”

Peacher’s familiarity managing stakeholder relationships and department goals
will be instrumental as Lincoln College expands its program offerings. The
institution recently launched a number of current degree options in an online
format. The IT department is responsible for supporting hybrid and online
delivery and accessibility during this transition.
Peacher holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University in
Telecommunications.
In addition to his role at Lincoln College, Peacher is an Associate Minister at
Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Bloomington. He also volunteers in the Audio/Visual
Ministry at Mt. Pisgah, providing the voice on weekly announcement videos for
the congregation. Peacher also hosts a Sunday radio program on WXRJ, 94.9 FM
called Gospel Sunday.
Brian will maintain oversight of Lincoln College’s Career Services department,
which provides free career counseling services and job opportunities to students
and alumni.
“I have full confidence Brian will lead our IT department with the same rigor
and enthusiasm he has demonstrated with Career Services,” added Gerlach.
