January 19, 2021 at the home of her daughter surrounded by her
family. |

Obituary
Linda S. Williams, 70, of Springfield
passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the home
of her daughter surrounded by her family.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later
date after Covid restrictions are lifted.
Linda Sue Williams was born on January 23, 1950 in
Lincoln the daughter of Charles A. Williams SR and
Agnes Edith Landreth Williams.
She was united in marriage to John P. Green on
February 22, 2018. He survives.
She is also survived by her daughters: Alison (Don)Behle
, Amy Stone (Patrick Freed) . Five grandchildren:
Amber Haak,Tierney Brosamer, Brooklyn (Cole) Awe,
Haidyn (Aundrea) Carroll, and Adalyn Stone. One
sister: Mary (Bob) Bammann and 7 great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two
sisters, one brother and her parents. |
Linda graduated from Lincoln
Community High School in 1968. She retired from the
State of Illinois Secretary of States office in
2009.
Linda enjoyed her work, her twin girls and her
grandkids. She was a master gardener and loved to
arrange flowers for weddings and special occasions.
She had a passion for adopting rescue animals.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart
Association or the Humane Society.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
