Obituary
Annetta Tillman, 76, passed away on
Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital.
Annetta was born on September 5, 1944 in Delavan,
daughter of Albert and Aleida (VanHorn) Dirks. She
married Charles Tillman on November 30, 1960 in
Delavan. He preceded her in death on August 1, 2014.
Surviving Annetta is her son: Doug (Sonja) Tillman
and their children: Valerie (Adam) Bonwell, Melissa
Tillman and Megan (Bridget Quinlivin) Backs;
daughter: Dawn (Bart Rademaker) Boundy and her
children: April (Justin) Behrends, Angela (H.E.)
Westen, and Ronica Boundy; daughter: Diane (Chuck
Vest) Swart and her children: Devon (Bree) Swart and
Samantha (Hunter) Birgerson; nine great
grandchildren and one on the way; her siblings:
George Dirks, Gertie Ross, Dorothy DeBord, and Anna
Whitbeck. |
She was preceded in death by her
parents, husband, and three brothers: Dick, Albert,
and Alfred Dirks, and one sister: Nancy Aspeitia.
Cremation rites were accorded. There will be a
private memorial service at a later date.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s
Research Hospital or to the Shriner’s Hospital for
Children.
Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home.
