Lincoln College Moving to Remote Learning for February 15

In an abundance of caution, Lincoln College will be moving all classes to remote learning on Monday, February 15, due to the anticipated inclement weather.

Online classes and those in a hybrid format that are scheduled to meet remotely Monday will not be affected and will continue as planned.

Lincoln College offices will be available by phone or email only. All academic support services will be offered in online formats. These support services include advising, disability services, library resources, career services, and academic tutoring. Food services will operate on a normal schedule for residential students.

Faculty are encouraged to make adjustments to course materials and assignments, as needed. Students should frequently check Canvas and their student email account for updates and communication from instructors.

Students, faculty, and staff are urged to use caution in their travels to and from campus and to dress appropriately for protection from cold temperatures and wind. Employees and student workers should use discretion when evaluating road conditions. Communicate with your direct supervisor if you are unable to travel to work or wish to work remotely.

Lincoln College will continue to closely monitor reports from the National Weather Service and modify operations, if necessary.

“The incoming system is expected to bring 5-8 inches of snow with wind chills as low as 20 below zero. It is in the best interest and safety of our campus community to shift to remote learning for Monday,” said Lincoln College President David Gerlach.
