| To the editor: The Lincoln City Council will be adding a Ward 4
Alderman after the up-coming primary and election. One of the two
candidates running for that seat on the Council will win the primary
on February 23, 2021. That will put that one candidate on the
general election in March as an unopposed candidate. That makes the
primary the most important of those two voting opportunities.
The person I am endorsing for the Ward 4 Alderman seat is Richard
			“Rick” Hoefle.

In addition to all of Rick’s positive accomplishments in his
activities in the Oasis, Special Olympics, St. Jude Run, and his
prior work as an Alderman on the Lincoln City Council, he worked
tirelessly in helping to save the Odd Fellows day care center.

I have had many conversations with Richard Hoefle where he has
demonstrated his strengths, desires, transparency, and concern for
the well-being of the condition of the City of Lincoln. Richard
Hoefle has had 35 years of experience as an investigator, litigator,
and auditor that gives him a unique ability to understand the need
to implement an accountability for every dollar spent of taxpayer’s
money. With our City in financial straights due to past
un-accountable spending patterns, with little oversight of funding
given to the recipients of the taxpayer’s tax money, Richard Hoefle
is ready and able to negotiate in the City Council for the
ACCOUNTABILITY of the funds given to those who are on the receiving
			end of that money.

			 [to top of second
			column] |

It is important for our City Citizens, and our
City Leaders, to know not only the “Who” is the recipient of City
tax funding, but also, “How” the money is spent, “Why” the money is
spent, “On What” the money is spent, and the accountability of each
			dollar that is spent.

Additionally, Richard Hoefle believes without a doubt the Citizens
of the City of Lincoln deserve to have a full accounting of the
Budget process of the City, the Projects of the Community regarding
infrastructure, and will ensure his participation on the City
Council will be in full display for all Citizens of his
constituency, and indeed, all Citizens of the City of Lincoln.
Again, I am endorsing Richard Hoefle to the Citizens of Ward 4, to
be their Representative on the Lincoln City Council.

Every Vote Counts for Richard Hoefle on Primary Day, February 23,
			2021.
