Lincoln Woman's Club to host Officer and Committee meeting Wednesday

[February 15, 2021]   LINCOLN - The Lincoln Woman's Club will hold an open house-style meeting from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday Feb. 17 at the Woman's Club Building. Officers and committee chairs will be present so members can transact these items of business:

* Pick up tickets to sell for the Apr. 7 Schnitzel sale at the American Legion, co-sponsored by the Sons of the American Legion.

* Sign up to work at the Schnitzel sale.

* Donate non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products for the local food pantry.

* Donate plastic bags for CAPCIL's Meals on Wheels program and for the Humane Society of Logan County.

* Donate new or used shoes of any size for the Soles for Souls program.

In addition to these activities, several committees will hold meetings.

The Lincoln Woman's Club plans to hold in-person membership meetings at 1:00 p.m. on Wed. Mar. 17 and Thurs. Apr. 22. These will take place at Lincoln Banquet Center, where social distancing and facemasks will be required.
