Obituary
Dean Mileham passed away on Sunday,
February 14, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center of
Springfield.
He was born on February 2, 1927 in Logan County, son
of Elmer and Lillie (Stratton) Mileham. He married
Alberta J ‘Bunnie” Hogan on April 12, 1952 in
Lincoln. She preceded him in death on November 14,
2016.
Dean is survived by his children; Gary Mileham of
Edinburg, William (Sandy) Mileham of Lake Fork,
Elmira (Butch) Mileham-Smith of Springfield, Terry
(Charity) Mileham of Mount Pulaski and Jamie
(Samantha) Mileham of Mount Pulaski, 23
grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 6
great-great- grandchildren; one brother, Eddie
Mileham of Riverton, two sisters: Velma (Vernon)
Burt of MN and Alma Walker of IA.

Dean was preceded in death by his
parents, wife, two daughters; Deanna Kay Mileham and
Linda Radtke, two grandchildren, two
great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, one
sister, Mary Hotchkiss and three brothers: Elmer
Mileham, Harry “Buddy” Mileham, and Russell “Buster”
Mileham.
Dean proudly served his country during WW II.
Dean was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Mount
Pulaski, VFW Post # 777, American legion Post # 447,
and the Lake Fork Community Center. He also enjoyed
tinkering on tractors and clocks.
Visitation for Dean will be from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on
Friday, February 19, 2021 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home. A graveside will be held at 1:00p.m.
Friday, February 19, 2021 at Carlyle Cemetery in
rural Lake Fork, where full military rites will be
accorded.
Memorials may be made in Dean’s name to Vonderleith
Living Center in Mount Pulaski.
