Miranda Nelson December Student of the Month at LCHS

 

[February 19, 2021]   In partnership with Lincoln Community High School, Town and Country Bank, located at 303 Pulaski Street in Lincoln, announced Miranda Nelson as the LCHS December Student of the Month Honoree.

Miranda Nelson, a Senior at Lincoln Community High School, is the daughter of Donald Nelson of Springfield and Melanie Nelson of Middletown.

Miranda’s school activities have included Soccer, Tennis, Band, Choir, Student Government and National Honor Society, among others. Miranda is extremely active in the community, volunteering at the Legion Sunday Breakfasts, Halloween Fest at the Rec Center, Carroll Catholic School Christmas Bazaar, Middletown 4-H Christmas Caroling, and collecting canned good for the food pantries, among others.

Town and Country Bank is the proud sponsor of the Lincoln Community High School Senior of the Month and Senior of the Year Award and Scholarship Program. Each month’s honoree receives a $50 cash award and is then eligible for a $1,500 scholarship, all awarded by the bank to be used at the college of their choice.
