Obituary
Mary C. Mote, 76 of Lincoln passed
away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the McLean
County Nursing Home in Normal.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday,
February 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Jefferson Street
Christian Church with Pastor Kevin Mote officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time
of service at the church.
Burial will be at a later date in Zion Cemetery.
Mary Christine Agent was born on October 7, 1944 in
Hopkinsville, Kentucky the daughter of William Henry
and Mary Kathern Moxley Agent. She was united in
marriage to David L. Mote on April 24, 1964 in
Lincoln. He preceded her in death on September 29,
2013. |
She is survived by her children:
Angela Mote of Odell, Kevin Mote of Milton, Iowa.
Six grandchildren: Matthew English, Katelyn Stewart,
Taylor Mote, Emaleigh Mote. One sister: Marie
Crumpler of Lincoln.
Mary is a member of the Jefferson Street Christian
Church. She had been employed at Community Action in
Lincoln.
She loved being surrounded by her family and
friends.
Memorials may be made to the Jefferson Street
Christian Church.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
