Obituary
Dorothy Johnson, 93, of Lincoln,
passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at The
Christian Village in Lincoln.
Dorothy was born on February 5, 1927 in Mount
Pulaski, the daughter of John Nelson and Cora
Kathleen (Tidball) Bates. She married Vernon Lee on
July 3, 1948, he preceded her in death on December
16, 1978. She married William Johnson on August 21,
1981, he preceded her in death on December 5, 2020.
Dorothy is survived by her step-children, Scott,
Kevin, and Kristi; her grandsons, Brian and Scott
Lee; her brother-in-law, James (Karen) Johnson;
several nieces, nephews, great nieces,
great-nephews, and step-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her
husbands; her son, Daniel Lee; and her eight
siblings.

Dorothy worked in housekeeping at
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln for
over 20 years.
Visitation will take place from 4:00-6:00pm on
Thursday, February 11, 2021 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln (Where
CDC protocol including face masks and social
distancing will be followed). A private graveside
service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in Dorothy’s name to
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
