Lady Railers defeat Mahomet-Seymour 48-38
- Kloe Froebe leads all scorers with 28 points

[February 19, 2021]    The Lady Railers hosted Mahomet-Seymour Thursday night at Roy S. Anderson Gymnasium and won their third game in a row with a 48-38 victory.

The game was tied up after the first quarter, 8-8 the score as Kloe Froebe poured in six first quarter points.

A couple threes by Ryen Stoltzenburg and five points by Ava Gorens in the second quarter allowed the Lady Railers to surge out to a 21-14 lead at the half.

At the end of the third quarter Lincoln’s lead was stretched to 33-24.

Mahomet-Seymour drew to within ten points with just under three minutes left in the game, but Froebe’s 14 points scored in the fourth quarter left no doubt for a Lady Railer victory. The final score was 48-38.

Kloe Froebe led all scorers with 28 points.

The Lady Railers improve to 4-2 on the season.

In the JV game Lincoln defeated Mahomet-Seymour 48-20. Imagin Werner led the Lady Railers with 16 points. Grace Curry scored 10 points for Lincoln.

Lincoln will host Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin on Saturday. The JV will start at 1:00 p.m. Varsity will start at 2:30 p.m.
