Obituary
Nancy Jane Ritterbush, 82, passed
away at 9:06 p.m. on February 3, 2021 at Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
She was born on May 10, 1938 in New Holland,
daughter of Claus and Edith (Trepel) Wibben. She
married Fred E. Ritterbush in August of 1957 and he
preceded her in death in 1985.
Nancy is survived by her children: Lisa (David)
Conrady of Elkhart, Doug (Jodi) Ritterbush of
Lincoln, Darien (Leonard Racine) Ritterbush of
Hartsburg; grandchildren: Brett (Janna) Conrady,
Breann (Thomas) Titus, and Emma Ritterbush; great
grandchildren: Ryder, Reagan, Brantley, Lakin, and
Coltyn; her siblings: Ruth (Larry) Reinhart of
Bloomington, Herman (Marty) Wibben of Emden, Duane
(Barb) Wibben of Lincoln, and John (Pam) Wibben of
Tremont.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband; her sisters, Margaret Conrady
and Betty Litherland; and one grandson: Ross Conrady. |
Nancy loved Sunday nights with her
family and friends; especially spending time with
her grandkids. She was a former U.S. Postmaster and
worked for the State of Illinois.
Private family services for Nancy will be held.
Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Monday,
February 8, 2021 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in
Emden.
Memorials may be made in Nancy’s name to Hartsburg
Fire Department or Community Action Partnership of
Central Illinois.
Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
