			 [February 22, 2021]
			The Lincoln Railers hosted
Mahomet-Seymour Friday night and the Bulldogs left town with a 60-55
			win.
Lincoln held a 5-2 lead early with Elijah Pollice rattling off the
			first Railer buckets.

Lincoln continued to hold a slim 10-8 advantage after a three by
Brody Whiteman midway through the quarter. The Bulldogs then took a
12-10 lead but a baseline drive by Whiteman tied the game.

Landon Hullinger would put the Railers back in front with a three,
15-12 the score with 1:44 on the clock.

Back-to-back baskets by Dylan Singleton finished the Railers first
quarter offense and gave Lincoln a 19-13 lead.

Singleton was on the run in the second quarter and poured in a quick
layup to stretch the lead to 21-13. After a steal and layup by
Singleton, the Railers held their biggest lead at 23-15. Around the
3:00 mark Pollice saw an opening in the lane and went for it. His
bucket put the Railers up 25-18.

The remaining minutes of the second quarter belonged to the
Bulldogs. A 7-0 run by Mahomet-Seymour tied the score 25-25 and
after a couple missed shots by the Railers just ahead of the buzzer,
the halftime score was in the books.

Whiteman’s baseline jumper early in the third quarter gave Lincoln
their last lead of the game, 27-25 the score. In a matter of
minutes, the game was all Bulldogs and they quickly went ahead
			37-29.

The Railers drew close after a Hullinger three with 1:22 left in the
third, but still 40-35 was the Bulldogs lead. That lead grew to
			44-35 as the quarter ended.

Singleton scored the first six points for Lincoln in the fourth
quarter, just keeping pace with Mahomet-Seymour.

Whiteman continued his impressive offensive effort and he would
score six points in the quarter, but the Bulldogs would put four in
double-figures on this night and continue to dominate Lincoln in the
			final minutes of play.

The Railers got four points out of Jaden Klopp down the stretch and
Singleton poured in a couple more baskets just before fouling out
with 26.3 seconds left and the score 57-53.

In the final seconds Whiteman scored the last Railers
basket. The final score was set 60-55.
Dylan Singleton led the Railers with 23 points. Brody Whiteman scored 15
		points for Lincoln.
