Mount Pulaski defeated the Athens Warriors on
Saturday afternoon by a final of 57-45. The visiting Hilltoppers
held a 28-25 lead at halftime. Aidan Schneider scored 11 of his
16 points in the second half to lead the Hilltoppers balanced
scoring attack to the 57-45 win.
Mount Pulaski placed three in double figures: Lane Murphy (16),
Aidan Schneider (16) and Grant Davis (14).
In the JV game, Athens defeated the Hilltoppers 70-50. Clay
Aylesworth led Mount Pulaski with 24 points.
Mount Pulaski will host Greenview Friday night. The JV game will
start at 6:00 p.m. The Varsity will start at 7:30 p.m.
