 Damm personifies Memorial Health System values in her compassionate
work with her patients in the Emergency Department and her
assistance to her team members, Jenny Rogers, a registered nurse in
the Emergency Department, said.
“Lauren has a positive attitude and is a great team player,” Rogers
said. “I have watched her orient several new employees, and she
takes the time to explain things and has patience with them as they
are learning. She stays calm under pressure and is always ready to
jump in to help.”
Damm loves the fast-paced nature of work in the Emergency
Department. “Every day is different, which is what I love about the
ED,” Damm said.

She also enjoys her team. “I feel very supported,” she said. “I love the
relationship I have with my colleagues.”
Damm has worked at Memorial Health System for six years. She was the Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital Colleague of the Month for November 2020.
Damm has a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Methodist College. She
lives in Mason City with her husband and daughter. She enjoys shopping and
spending time on her family’s farm.
