meeting via Zoom

The monthly meeting of Atlanta Ag 4-H Club met on December 20th,
2020, via Zoom due to COVID-19 restrictions. The meeting was called
to order and a roll call was taken via chat in the Zoom meeting.
Asher Clark, Secretary, read the minutes of November’s meeting. Reid
McDowell, Treasurer, reported the Treasurer report.
The Cloverbud Leader’s report was that the Cloverbuds adopted a
dairy cow. The Gingerbread Contest was won by the 4-H club. Trophy
will be awarded at a later date. The gingerbread display and
Christmas tree will be displayed until January 1st, 2021. The club
members that participated in Secret Santa revealed what and who they
got. We had an ugly sweater contest.
Anna, a club Leader, reported that the club needed to pay the
t-shirt invoicing. The community foundation grant deadline is March
1st, 2021. One consideration is to partner with the library for a
youth program. Anna informed the club that Brittany Janes is the new
Library Director.
Anna further discussed that the 4H enrollment needed to be
completed. There will be meetings held for various projects and for
help managing them.
Celebration committee reported that there are no events at this time
and declared that you can put up bird feeders and do virtual
greetings for nursing homes.

Recreation - Posted a word search to print and complete.
Song - Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Cloverbuds went to a breakout room.
Shirt invoice was discussed and a motion was made to pay the invoice
of $735.69. Motion was seconded. Voted on and passed. Other new
business was discussion regarding writing a grant proposal but that
was tabled until after the new year.
Spirit Stick winner will be announced on Facebook.
