Obituary
Denice Kay Miner, 59, of Springfield
formerly of Lincoln passed away on Tuesday, January
12, 2021 in Springfield.
Denice was born on October 14, 1961 in Jacksonville,
the daughter of George and Wanda (Flynn) Malone. She
married Eugene Miner on October 22, 1982 they were
married for 15 years.
Denice is survived by her son, Jeremy (Cara Coers)
Miner of Keokuk, IA; her daughter, Amanda Miner of
Lincoln; her six grandchildren; and her siblings,
Carmen Bruner of Springfield, Georgia (Norman) Heath
of Mount Pulaski, Ed (Martha) Malone of Galena, MO,
Shelly Malone of Springfield, Kathy (Jeff) Malone of
Statesboro, Jackie (Nicholas) Ramirez of
Springfield, and Kerry (Michelle) Malone of
Springfield.

Denice was preceded in death by her
parents; her brother, Chip Malone; and her grandson,
Bryson.
Denice retired from Lincoln Developmental Center in
Lincoln, IL. She enjoyed spending time with her
family and grandkids and was a long time member of
The Eagles Lodge in Lincoln.
A graveside service for Denice will be held at
11:00am on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Mount
Pulaski Cemetery, Mount Pulaski.
Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski.
