A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Monday, January 25, 2021 at Mount Pulaski Cemetery
in Mount Pulaski.

Obituary
Helen L. Fine, 94, of Mount Pulaski
passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at St.
John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Helen was born on November 15, 1926 in Springfield,
the daughter of Rhinhold and Alfaretta (Cecil)
Schleffler. She married William E. Fine on August 9,
1953 in Springfield. He preceded her in death on
November 16, 1987.
Helen is survived by her children, Susan Fine of
Middletown, Tim (Kathryn) Fine of Riverton, Alisa
(Dave) Donnelly of Clinton, and Tom (Mary) Fine of
Springfield; her nine grandchildren and eleven
great-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her
husband; and her brother, Tom Schleffler.
Helen was a registered nurse at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital and Vonderlieth Living Center. She
volunteered at The Mount Pulaski Courthouse and
Mount Pulaski EMOUNT. |
She was a proud member of the
Daughters of The American Revolution and Mount
Pulaski Christian Church; and she enjoyed spending
time working on arts and crafts.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Monday, January 25, 2021 at Mount Pulaski Cemetery
in Mount Pulaski.
Memorial donations may be made in Helen’s name to
The American Heart Association or The American
Cancer Society.
Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski.
