Obituary
James “Chuck” Tibbs, 59, of Lincoln
passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at
Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur.
Chuck was born on February 22, 1961 in Lincoln, son
of Daniel and Elsie (Anderson) Tibbs Jr. He married
Valerie Raynor on November 6, 1992 in Newport, Rhode
Island. She survives him.
Also surviving Chuck is his son: James (Jenna
Gibson) Tibbs II and one grandson: Matthew James
Tibbs. He was preceded in death by his parents and
one brother: Roger Armstrong.
Chuck proudly served his country in the United
States Navy.

A graveside for Chuck will be 2:00
p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021 at Irish Grove
Cemetery in Middletown, with Ron Otto officiating.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Chuck’s
name to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 672.
Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
