Visitation: Saturday, June 19,2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home

Service: Monday, June 21,2021 at 9:00 a.m. at the New Union Cemetery in Lincoln

James O. Turley, 61, of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at his home.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 19,2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Graveside services will be on Monday, June 21,2021 at 9:00 a.m. at the New Union Cemetery in Lincoln.

James Ora Turley was born on December 7, 1959, in Lincoln, the son of Charles Edward and Phyllis Jean Freeman Turley.

Jim is survived by his sister: Mary A. Turley; three brothers: Chuck E. Turley, Bob (Laura) Turley, and Brian (Audra) Turley; nieces and nephews: Mike Turley, TJ (Megan) Turley, Kylie Nall and Faith Turley; four great-nephews and one great-niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jim graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1978 and Lincoln College1980. He was employed at HSHS St. John’s Hospital as a Security Officer.

Jim was an Eagle Scout. His hobbies included guns, playing the bagpipes, and he was a Harley rider.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Suicide Prevention.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home.
