Birthday Open House
Lorraine Sasse

[July 09, 2021]   The family of Lorraine Sasse will be hosting a 90th Birthday Open House on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the Chestnut-Beason Park Pavilion, 2216 1275th Street, Beason.

In lieu of gifts, Lorraine would like canned food items or monetary donations to the Logan County Food Pantry. She is a weekly volunteer at the food pantry.

Lorraine was born July 12, 1931 in St. Peter, IL. She moved to the Beason area in 1951 with her husband Harold. They farmed in the Beason area until 1990 and then retired in Lincoln.

Their children are: Dean (Martha), David (Gail Apel) and Mike. There are 4 grandchildren: Heather (Scott) Martin, Allen (Heather) Sasse, Nathan (Beth) Sasse, and Abrigail (Doug) Temple. There are 13 great-grandchildren: Lauren, Erin, Jordyn, Peyton, Tyler, Katelyn, Alyssa, Hannah, Connor, Chester, Fiona, Rachel, and Natelie. There are 2 step great-grandchildren: Alayna and McCayla. There is one deceased great granddaughter, Grace.

Loraine enjoys her family, gardening, baking, quilting, and volunteering at Zion Lutheran Church and Logan County Food Pantry.
