Summer Reading Program to Wrap Up with Unicorns, Reptiles, and Ice

The summer is flying by but it is not too late to participate
in the Lincoln Public Library District’s Summer Reading Program,
Reading Colors Your World. There is a program and prizes for all
ages and registration is open throughout the program.

Some
upcoming events at the Library include a Unicorn story time on the
Carnegie lawn on Thursday, July 15 at 10:00AM. Followed by an
opportunity to get your picture taken with the Unicorn inside the
Annex building. Each week the library provides take home educational
craft kits for grades K – 12.
To wrap up the summer program season, Silly Safaris will be at the
Library on Thursday, July 22 at 10:00AM to delight and entertain the
kids and adults with live animals.

There will be a variety of reptiles, mammals, birds, and bugs for
an experience you will never forget. As a special finale treat, UCB Bank will be
providing ice cream and a bouncy house from 11:00AM – 2:00PM for program
participants. Be sure to bring your sunscreen, a blanket to sit on, and a
camera.
