Obituary
Robert W. Matson, 91, of Lincoln,
passed away at his home on Saturday, July 10, 2021,
at 11:52 p.m.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be
at Keyes Cemetery in Beason.
Robert W. Matson was born August 20, 1929, in
Lincoln, the son of Reginald and Emma Wilson Matson.
He was united in marriage to Ruth A. Shepherd on
July 20, 1951. She preceded him in death September
28, 2019.
Surviving Robert are his children: Mitchell R.
Matson and Regina (Donnie) Bryant; one
daughter-in-law: Yvonne Matson; one sister: Betty
Poston; two grandchildren: Chad (Brittany) Bryant
and Angie (Nate) Bonaparte; and seven
great-grandchildren. |
He was preceded in death by his wife;
two sons: Bobby Joe Matson and Reggie Wayne Matson;
and four brothers.
Robert retired from Eaton Corporation where he was a
press operator in the molding department.
Memorials may be made to an organization of the
donor's choice.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley
Funeral Home of Lincoln.
