Obituary
Doris M. Ellegood, 86, of Middletown,
passed away at 7:59 a.m. on Friday, July 9, 2021, at
her home.
A graveside service will be held at Harmony Cemetery
in rural Beason on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 2:00
p.m.
CDC guidelines for Covid-19 must be followed for
social distancing.
Doris M. Ketcham was born August 8, 1934, in
Effingham, the daughter of Leslie L. and Reuhama
Westfall Ketcham. She was united in marriage to
Louis G. Ellegood on September 23, 1952. He preceded
Doris in death on November 12, 2013.

Doris was a 1952 graduate of Lincoln
Community High School. Later, she graduated from
Illinois State University and then was employed at
Havana High School as a Special Education Teacher.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the
Middletown Fire Department or Humane Society of
Logan County.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley
Funeral Home of Lincoln.
