Aida Violeta Ernst, 87, born in
Chile, South America resided in Peru, Il. passed
away July 14 2021 as a resident of Christian
Village.
Widowed of Jaime A. Ernst, she was
mother to Monica Floersch, Jaime F. Ernst, Karen
Rhine, and Carlos Ernst and grandmother to Gabrielle
Croegaert, Rigoberto Ernst, Calvin Ernst, Violeta
Ernst, and Jessica Petersen and Robert Floersch.
Aida also had six great grandchildren.
She was a life long learner who
taught English as a second language classes at the
junior college I.V.C.C in Oglesby, Il while also
taking classes for her own improvement.
Our mom was an accomplished artist
and member of the Illinois Valley Art League. |
She also worked at the LaSalle News
Tribune for a few years.
Her hobbies were drawing, painting
, gardening, and reading .
Our mother was dearly loved by all and will be
sorely missed
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home.
There will be no services at this
time.
